Dr. Wm. Kevin Dancy

 

An Atlanta native, Dr. Dancy has always been passionate about serving the community in which he was raised.  After graduating from Morehouse College (BS), Meharry Medical College – School of Dentistry (DDS), and the University of Michigan (MS) he did just that and returned back to beautiful Southwest Atlanta to began practicing. He has been home practicing for 12 years and it’s been a very rewarding experience.

 

​Professionally, Dr. Dancy stays quite busy. He serves as Lead Doctor at the GEDC Cascade location as well as Clinical Director of the Southwest Atlanta region.  From 2010-12, he served as the “House Call Dentist” on Good Day Atlanta Morning Show on Fox 5. Since 2010, he has appeared on the nationally syndicated Rickey Smiley Morning Show for “Doc Week” discussing the importance of proper dental care and answered questions from the listeners. He has lectured to several social and religious organizations on dentistry as well.  Dr. Dancy also serves as a clinical consultant to the Dental Advisor, an evidence-based dental magazine. He is also a contributing author for Black Health Magazine “Ask the Doctor” column. He is also a member of several professional organizations, such as the Academy of General Dentistry, American and National Dental Associations, the North Georgia Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

 

​Dr. Dancy has received many honors and awards as well. He has been given a Top Gun Dentist Award by GEDC for 2011, 2012, and 2013. The Academy of General Dentistry granted the Fellowship Award in 2006 and in 2009 bestowed the Mastership Award upon him as well. Dr. Dancy also received the Fellowship Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2008.  In 2006, he completed the Implant Seminars Mini-Residency in Implant Dentistry. While in dental school he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Tonya Echols Cole, MD

 

Tonya Echols Cole, MD is board certified in Radiation Oncology. In 2004 she founded Greater Atlanta Radiation Oncology Consultants.  She has 2 practice locations; one on the main campus at Dekalb Medical Center in Decatur and a second office in Lithonia at the Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care at Dekalb Hillandale.

 

She received her Bachelor of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine.  She completed her training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Cincinnati’s, Barrett Cancer Center.

 

Dr Cole .  has a special interest in the treatment of breast and gynecologic malignancies . In addition, she treats all solid tumors including, lung cancer, central nervous system malignancies, rectal cancers, skin cancers, prostate and lymphoma. She also treats benign diseases such as keloids.

 

Dr. Echols was recognized as an Alpha Kappa Alpha, Educational Advancement Scholar, received the Roentgen Resident Research Award and was also honored as the valedictorian of the Nx Level Entrepreneur training program at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. She has also been recognized in Who’s Who in Black Atlanta.

 

Dr Cole is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and  The Atlanta Regional Clinical Oncology Program.

 

She his active in the community and has served on numerous boards including the American Red Cross Minority Recruitment Board, and Youth Vibe, Inc. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and started the medical ministry at Higher Living Christian Church..

Joseph (Jay) Shelton, MD

 

Jay Shelton, M.D., practices at Grady Memorial Hospital where he focuses on treatment of patients with gynecologic, genitourinary, and lung cancers. He completed residency in radiation oncology at Emory University, as well as an internship in internal medicine. He attended medical school at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He earned a B.S. in Chemistry from The University of Virginia.

 

During his time at Emory, Dr. Shelton served as chief resident in his final year of training. He received several

awards, including the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award and acceptance for the American Brachytherapy Society HDR Fellowship. Additionally, he has authored and coauthored several manuscripts

related to radiation therapy for gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers.

 

Dr. Shelton’s research interests include outcomes and technological advances the treatment of gynecologic

cancer. He also has a research interest in brachytherapy treatment for multiple disease sites. He is a member

of multiple professional organizations including the American Society for Radiation Oncology and American Brachytherapy Society.

 

Wilson DuMornay, MD

Assistant Professor of Surgery, Director of the Division Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery

 

Dr. DuMornay specializes in advanced Head and neck oncology; Robot assisted endoscopic surgery (TORS), Endoscopic Sinus surgery, Skull base, Snoring, Sleep Surgery, Tracheal stenosis, Vocal cord paralysis, minimally invasive thyroid, parathyroid surgery and general Otolaryngology. Dr. DuMomay is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve, having served multiple deployments overseas.

 

Dr. Wilson DuMornay graduated from Temple University School of Medicine with honors, completed his surgical internship at Tulane University at Charity Medical center. He completed his Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery residency at Albert EinsteiniMontefiore  Medical Center in New York City. Dr. DuMornay continued his postgraduate training at memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the University of Miami in Head and Neck Surgery with microvascular reconstruction. Dr. DuMornay is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.

 

Jing Jing Wong Harris, MD

Family Medicine, Aesthetic Medicine, Concierge Medicine, Attending Clinical Instructor

Dr. Jing Jing Wong Harris is a Licensed Family Medicine Provider with additional Clinical and Cosmetics Dermatology, and Anti-Aging Training.

 

She completed her residency training with Loyola University, School of Medicine and Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. Additionally, Dr. Harris completed over 3 years of specific dermatology training, in both clinical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Harris has also completed and instructed numerous dermatological and aesthetic courses.

 

Dr. Harris attended both Morehouse School of Medicine and Xavier University School of Medicine, she is also, currently a clinical instructor for Morehouse School of Medicine Residency Training Program. Prior to Medical Training, Dr. Harris trained in Dietetics and Nutrition.

 

Dr. Harris also trained for numerous years under the tutelage of Dr. Welsey Wilborn, renowned Dermatologist, Instructor, Speaker, and Founder of DPL Cosmetics.

 

Dr. Harris treats patients of all colors and ethnicites, and she has additional, specific training in the treatment of minority skin complaints (including African American, Asian, Hispanics, East Indians, and other pigmented populations).

 

Dr. Harris specializes in ethnic specific cosmetics treatments.

 

We are a medical practice. Though Dr. Harris specializes in Aesthetics, she is first and foremost a Generalist. As a Family Physician Dr. Harris has the medical background to also comment on underlying health conditions that can affect the overall health and appearance of your skin.

Dr. Colbert

 

Dr. Colbert is a board-certified Medical Oncologist specializing in the treatment of breast cancer at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. She also runs the female malignancies clinic at the Atlanta VA Medical Center.  Dr. Colbert received her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She completed residency training in Internal Medicine at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio and her fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Colbert’s research has explored the link between obesity, inflammation and breast cancer pathogenesis. She has been published in peer-reviewed journals and lectures at both the local and national levels. She is an assistant professor of Hematology and Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine and an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine.

Dr. Rondrick Williamson

 

Dr Rondrick Williamson is a doctor of Podiatric Medicine and was an honor graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr Williamson's residency training was completed at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. While in San Antonio he was exposed to all facets of podiatric care but spent an enormous amount of time and research on the diabetic patient.

 

He is board certified in Diabetic Wound Care and Management by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He is also a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Professionally he serves as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association and the American Diabetes Association.

 

Dr Williamson finds time in his busy schedule to mentor youth throughout the community. He has been involved in several community organizations such as the Mentors Project of Macon/ Bibb County, Big Brothers Big Sisters and also the Rondrick Williamson Foundation as he serves as chairman.

 

He has been featured on the daytime Emmy Award winning talk show The Doctors, The Weather Channel, and on WebMD magazine. He currently is medical director of Podiatry Care of Georgia.
